While in Lamu, I used photography to collaborate with local artisans, the museum archivist Issa Loo, and others, on various projects and sustainable business endeavors. For example, I took a series of images to document the process of dhow-building in Lamu, in collaboration with artist Bernard Moro, who is creating sketches from the photos.
